I am trying to build an unattended windows xp ISO as I am totally annoyed at reinstalling windows for 3 hours everytime something goes **** up. I know there is software available that will copy the contents of your win xp cd and then add information that you would normally have to type in during windows setup. After its done it makes an ISO image to burn to CD so that you can use the new unattended setup with all your personal settings in.

I cant for the life of me find this program now. Does anyone know where I can find a program like this?

Have you thought about imaging software too? If you use something like Acronis TrueImage, you make an image of any of your partitions and if you hose your Windows installation, you can restore from the image you made.

Here's a guide on all the different things you can do with nLite.

Nlite is amazing, not just the unattained feature but also altering almost every detail of windows to what suits you! Im running an nlited system now - very fast.
