I've a PS3 and 360 - and a decent PC - and although I love the PS3 and 360 - I'm beginning to miss the 1900x1200 4xAA from the PC ... its really quite noticeable (very)

Its 720P but upscales to 1080P with no issues to frame rate or tearing according to some tests done on the game

Yes you will, it's not particularly long and you'll enjoy the original much more if you play it now rather than after the sequel in my opinion.

I just recently played it through again (for my 3rd time!!) in preparation.
