Uncharted get it or not

With the release of the new uncharted game thats coming out next year on the vita getting me very excited. I realised i got a ps3 and never played them, is it something i got to do or are they pretty average. I remember hearing ages ago its like Gears of war and tomb raider mashed into one.

btw, skip the first 1, its aged horrible but still a very good game. I'd go straight to 2 then 3.

First game is kinda average at best, its like a tomb raider game. 2nd and 3rd games are like gaming orgasms.

as a former ps3 owner i can honestly say uncharted is the best series on the console by a mile. gutted cant play uncharted 3

first game isnt very long and still worth playing for any of the references, second is a stunning game, yet to play the 3rd though.

Ok cheers ill buy them on my next pay day. I might aswell get the first one just for the story and references, im not really a graphics whore on a console anyway so im sure ill enjoy it.

Definitely play them from the start, it's only aged in comparison to the later games, but it's still great. I replayed through it and U2 before starting U3 and once I was past the first few chapters (which are quite simplistic) I was really enjoying it again.

Also means you'll appreciate the improvements in the later games much more, as well as understand more of the references in U3.

I brought the uncharted games quite a while ago picked them up for less than a tenner each and have only just got round to playing the first, somebody mentioned on here that he feels they wouldn't have aged to well but I thought the first one was quite good. My only gripe is the shooting is a bit dodgy, but they're definitely worth picking up mate I can't wait to start on the second. Currently being distracted by MGS2 & 3 HD.

Personally i'd play them from the start i.e the 1st one. It doesn't look as good as it's predecessors but the story is amazing and to me it's been the most memorable one out of the Uncharted games (i've only played 1 & 2 xD).

It's a great series and they're all worth playing. My favourite is #2. 3 was good but 2 is still the better game.

If you enjoy 2 then get 1 as well. Its still a very good game.

Streets of rage has also ages but it doesn't stop it being fun.

Second game is the best of the series. That said, you would do no wrong by buying all three.

Excellent game series, I would recommend starting with 1, then 2 and so on for the "Full" story, references and such.

I liked 1, LOVED 2 and I'm yet to play 3 even though I've had it since launch, I'm waiting until I have enough spare to to get in a fair few hours play before I touch it though..!
