Uncharted get it or not

Uncharted is the only series I own on PS3, Everything else is a clone of something or has been done better elsewhere. If it wasn't for Uncharted I probably would have sold my PS3 years ago, Go buy it!
 
Uncharted 1 is a very good game
Uncharted 2 is one of the finest games i've ever played
Uncharted 3 is an excellent game (better than 1)
 
My copy of uncharted 1 and 2 came today. Managed to put a couple hours into the first one. So far its enjoyable the acting and story is really good. It doesnt remind me of indiana jones but more romance of the stone or whatever it was called.
The only gripe is the game seems pretty easy the jumping is pretty much done for you and the combat is pretty easy apart from that you cant take many shots.
Currently nearing the end of chapter 5, ill play more tomorrow, but yeah the series has a lot of promise i would say:)
 
Only get them if you don't mind loosing sleep...

Slapped on the 3rd one tonight (having played the first two) and was up until 4am... I'm now in work at 9am :(
 
Its a great series, possibly the best on the platform. Its good you started at the first one. You'll see how the character evolve over the series. I'm currently at chapter 6 on UC3, but haven't managed to play anymore since I have a lot of uni work to get done. Will pick it from where I left off over Christmas break though.
 
i was in the same boat and bought it earlier this year played it once or twice and never again. maybe its the type or style of game but i much prefer like metal gear solid.
 
Uncharted 1 has the better story I think, but Uncharted 2 has the best story telling, gameplay, acting and general overall direction. I've not played 3 yet, though I've had it for a while - just waiting for a good chunk of time to play it in a few sittings :)

well for a start, i thought the dodging lights on the train was quite a poor section as was the rather crap boss fight at the end where you had to run around and shoot that goo (to blow it up) when the boss was near it. i felt ND had ran out of ideas when i played those parts.

i loved HL2, but as for your comment...

i'll try to remember and ask you what i should say in future as i don't want to be thought of as some kind of weirdo for having an opinion.

Anyway i finished U1 today, i thought it was really good and the story telling was very good it felt like a film.
I started U2 and im on chapter 5 i think
in the ruined city i think its nepal
But yeah the storytelling seems to be even more better and every other aspect of the game has been improved. The only negative is the controls for the grenade wtf is that all about.
 
I beat the first 2 games and I preferred the 1st game over the 2nd, for me I really liked the fact there were no time lapses between the chapters of the first, they all led on from each other like you were playing them in realtime, unlike the 2nd which jumped around all over the place in location and time.I also was more involved in the story of the first, and found the unravelling mystery of the treasure far more interesting than the shangrilaa bs of the 2nd.However they both are 2 of my top 5-10 games of all time.
