This game is amazing but it also blows my mind how amazing this game looks on a handheld. I find myself constantly taking screenshots because how wonderful it looks.

How are you finding the gameplay? In particular, the shooting? This has always been an issue even on the home console.

I found I couldn't react has fast has I'd like when it came to shooting at first. Now I'm improving as it takes your analog sticks and motion controls to get that perfect shot.

I was worried with it not being developed by Naughty Dog but Sony Bend Studio did a really good job. I thought all the new optional controls maybe gimmicky but I actually find myself using them. I think the collecting artefacts and searching for clues to mysteries a lot of fun in this mobile version a blast too.

If you like Uncharted: Drakes Fortune you'll love Golden Abyss

Actually I should have called this PS Vita screenshots instead of restricting it to one game but I was and still am obsessed with Golden Abyss. Some Fifa screenshots would be great as I think that game would sell the Vita to a lot of people.

The grabs in the OP look terrible if I'm honest. Jaggy as hell!

Bare in mind, it's on a much smaller screen and something that is just a little bigger than a large screened smart phone lol.

I would get one if I had the chance to actually use it aside from at home! lol.

Send a message to one of the mods for this section and ask them to rename it :)

Some of the OS in general. I'm posting at 500px wide rather than 960 as I find it is far more representative of what we actually see on the Vita. Click the image to get to the full size.

Given there's no individual threads for the games themselves what's Uncharted for Vita like? Does it refer back to the PS3 games at all? Do those that own it utilise the touch screen functions at all or do you just go old school on it?

Uncharted is the only game I'd get a Vita for so it'll be interesting to hear if it stands up with it's PS3 counterparts or not?

It's set before the Uncharted Drakes Fortune but the story is not connected to any of the other Uncharted games what so ever. You do get to meet up with Sully halfway though the game which is nice.

Cool, given that there's no other characters from the series I'm glad it's set before rather than just ignoring them altogether. How does it play then? Do you use the touch screen functions?

Actually I use the touch screen function more than I thought I would. At some points you have to use the touch screen like in melee combat or cutting through barriers with the machete. I didn't think I'd bother with it to draw lines to follow when climbing but I do most of the time.
