Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection practically confirmed

After playing the demo last night I can't wait for this :D

I never actually played any of the previous ones but always wanted to and this is the perfect excuse to give them a go. I love how polished and immersive the world is even for such an old game, the character iterations and animations are on point!

How can someone seriously compare Tomb Raider 2013 to the uncharted trilogy and then slate uncharted?

Tomb Raider 2013 owes its entire existence to the uncharted trilogy, it copies massively from it but has a way worse story.

Of course Tomb Raider is going to feel more refined, it's a more modern game.

If uncharted 4 has the same issues then fine slate away.

And Uncharted only exists because of earlier Tomb Raiders, taking good ideas from previous games is what drives better and better games.

I've played every Tomb Raider and Uncharted at release and love them both equally, I really don't get all the hate for one or other.

Tomb Raider did a lot to build upon the gameplay that Uncharted had already refined. It did nothing to build upon the cinematic, character-driven approach that Naughty Dog brought with them, however. I'm mid-way through replaying Tomb Raider on the PS4 at the moment (it's on pause due to MGS) but the only compelling thing about it is the gameplay and level design; I'd sooner play the original Uncharted if I wanted a decent story.

Anyway, tried the demo briefly last night: Looked great, controls felt a bit weird and slippery, but I'll give it another go tonight.

Played the first 10 minutes of the demo, and happy with my preorder.

Didn't want to play any more as i'm completely new to the series. Looking forward to it, it's a lot of gaming for £35.

Tried the demo and dont think i need to buy this collection

Played all 3 on ps3, platinumed U3 and 1 away from U2 so i think ive played them enough for now :D

Seemed like a fine upgrade over the originals but they are still great games in my memory so it didnt seem like much of a djfference except the framerate. (Obviously it probably does look miles better, but i remember them looking great at the time is all)

Preordered this because I never played the originals. Not going to play the demo because I don't want to ruin the experience. As someone already said, it's a lot of gaming for not a lot of money.

Played TLOU remaster earlier in the year and thought it was excellent, if they're half as good as that it's worth the money.

Played the demo last night, seemed smooth enough (graphically, it looked quite upscaled)

I never got around to playing the first three, so will be getting the PS4 version

You are in for a treat. Wish I could forget them and play again as an Uncharted Virgin... :)

The first one is not the best 2 & 3 are considerably better....

I'll be getting this I reckon.

I only played the first on PS3 and none of the others since. When it is actually out? I will get to use my PS4 for the first time in ages :D

I'm very tempted to pick this up for £32.76 but I still have mgs and batman to finish. I don't want to start a backlog of games :(

Played the demo and thought it was alright, controls felt a little clunky, but it looked pretty for such an old game, this will be something i'll pick up when it's cheap as right now there are too many new games coming.
