Wont it, surely ill get the railcard for 3 years? Doubt ill have to show my driving licence to anyone

edit - screw it, ill just get on this year and one next. Hopefully ill have more money to travel then!

The three year one is open to people that will be able to use it before they / or up to they are 25, as you go past 25 in those three years you are not eligible.

Not that difficult.

^ unless i put im 23 now. Fox - dont think ill get 6 years in Armley for fraud saying i put 83 instead of 84 on my railcard! :p

As i said, ive got the 1 year one anyway and will get the same next year

Every time I bought/renewed my Railcard they check your ID, so they will know!

How can they check my ID, unless they send someone around to my house? You dont have to send you driving licence off or anything. Doesnt this mean that a 30 year old could get an under 25s rail card?

(im presuming they dont have anyones info on a database)

I've done it at the counter in the station itself, so I'd imagine if it's over the internet they will find a way of checking.

Think you get about 1/3 off the price of a ticket. But I believe the 16-25 railcard can't be used before the morning peak hour is over?

Salford Uni? I went there, finished last year. Went from Manchester Piccadilly to Milton Keynes Central 5-6 times a year and would have saved several times the cost of the railcard using mine. :)
