seen many strip lights on auction sites etc but since im planning on putting some lights under my kids desk and bed thought it be best to check here what sort of brand etc i should be looking at for high quality and total reliability so no risk of fire etc. kid is 7 so a nice glow coming from under the bed and desk would be nice. dunno if there is some sort of timer they run on or if they stay on all night too.

Check out Govie. I've seen some of there stuff and it is really nice. They have an ARGB kit that has the rainbow wave effect which most home led strips don't have. It can also be controlled by the phone. If u get it, make sure to update the firmware of the strip with the app to get the cooler smooth wave effects.
