why would my ram be underclocking like this? 784.9 instead of 800?

i have cleared the cmos and it still underclocks?

the volts are at 1.5 (std) i have tried higher volts and different timings?

Look at the CPU tab and see what the bus speed says.

Likely it's running at less than 100MHz (probably just over 98MHz).

Usually disabling spread spectrum in the BIOS sorts that out.

I assume it worked :)

Check the speed of your processor.

If the Base Clock has increased from ~98MHz to 100MHz then with a x49 multiplier you've added nearly 100MHz to the processor speed as well.

all adjusted buddy. i was able to stablize 4.9 by underclocking the base clock so i have forgone the benefits that 0.1GHz brings and gone back to 4.8 baseclock 100 :)
