Does anyone have any info on how to underclock a card? I have never done any clocking before so preferably a guide for a newbie. The card i want to underclock is a Geforce4 4600ti.

you use the same tools as you would for overclocking.... :p

that would be coolbits or rivatuner for nvidia cards. google 'em. :)

Thanks for the info on what to use but do you have a tutorial on ehat to do because i wouldn't know where to start.

May i ask why? are you trying to run it passivley or something?
No i am not just a few graphic corruptions and it was suggested to me a while ago in an old thread to try underclocking the card.

Well basically if you use coolbits theres an option in the nvidia panel for clock settings, just move the slider to reduce the number

Which settings mem/core/2D/3D ? it is all new to me please someone must have some guides for me.

Try core first, and then mem, keep going til the corruption stops

If the corruption is during desktop use, then 2d, if its in 3d work do 3d
