Understanding Credit Score

Just sounds like a lack of much credit information may be affecting you.

They may not be as cheap, but your bank may be the best way to go to borrow. They will take your banking history into account as well and I cannot see you having any problems.

Rubbish credit cards are fine, just set up a direct debit to pay it off in FULL every month and then use it like you would your debit card. Vanquis are a good company, they gave me a credit card with no previous credit history so thumbs up to them for giving me the opportunity to prove i will make no creditor any money as i always pay back in full :p

I think it was 50% APR, but it could have been 1million% and it would have made no difference whatsoever.

Oh no :(

Give it 6 months to a year and try reapplying, as there will be a lot of foot prints on your file at the moment. Maybe try Monesavingexpert?

Sucks, but I'm concerned that because of all the applications you will have on your file, it's best to let it settle for 6 months to a year. How long of your course do you have left?

Perhaps reapply after you've completed your course?

course?

I might save up a bit of money and try getting a car on finance but offer them quite a chunky deposit...

Or buy a banger.

Sorry, I got confused with another poster, I thought you were a student :o My bad.

I'd give it a few months before getting a Car on Finance..maybe get a little banger for now, keep it for 6 months and sell it with its remaining MoT?

I tried today, they offered me this starter one that you apply for online, apparently you can't apply for it in branch, I didnt get that, but anyway I tried online and I was rejected

Dont buy a car on finance if you have crap credit history - 90% of car finance deals are serious ripoffs, and the 10% that are not are unlikely to be offered to you.
