I have just got this book, having just bought a 450d. And wow. He really does it make it easy to grasp. 30 pages in, and I pretty much no the basics know :p
All but grasped Aperture and Shutter Speeds , just need to get hold of ISO now

What's the ISBN for the book? Sounds like a good read :)

(I know it's been recommended before, just thought I'd look into it now)

Got this for Christmas, although it arrived late (Waterstones) as it was out of print. Looking forward to a good read.

Still waiting on mine coming on the slow boat from America. Somehow dad managed to order it from America rather than in the UK. I guess it'll be a belated xmas present when it turns up!

I didnt want to wait so I went and got it from Waterstones, cost a bit more but I don't mind! Will be reading it as soon as I finish a web usability book I'm currently reading!
Comes recommended by everyone though!

It's a great book, nicely complemented by Light: Science and Magic which is a bit more involved but an excellent read particularly for anyone looking to use a flash more seriously.
