Odd question incoming.

I feel like underwear is something I don't spend enough on. I used to buy cheap £5 for 3 pairs from Primark but realised that A) they break within 2 washes and B) They're just not comfortable.

I've tried a few other brands of underwear but I hate to sound cliche but Calvin Klien's seem to be the only brand I find somewhat comfortable. When walking even my other non-cheap boxers try and ride up my butt and give me a wedgie (Sorry, TMI. Not sorry) so I had a cull and chucked them all out and replaced with all CK ones. But now I feel like if anyone see's me they'll think I always have the same pants on!

My friends mentioned Under Armour but wondering if you chaps can also point me in the direction of comfy and good quality underwear.

That whole pocket thing has me intrigued, i can't lie. In theory i can see what they're trying to do and the airflow would be pleasant.... But I don't want to have to fiddle about finding a pocket :p

What is wrong with people's washing machines?

I have pairs of undies from Next and Primark that are years old with over 100 washes that are still fine.

Nothing inherrinetly wrong with undies from Primark other than they are bloody uncomfortable and always ride up my legs resulting in me having to pull them back down. Never have that issue with CKs

Yeah, I get the Pro ones caus pocket might feel weird and it's an expensive way to find out. The material and fit is amazing though.
I may order some, most of the reviews seem to be very positive only thing they moan about is the price

to answer OP. just buy different colours and styles of CK's. even their t -shirts are great plain white and plain black.
That's what I do for the most part. Just fancied switching it up and get some other brands. My partner still carries a discount from when she used to work in retail - though that was years ago! So for me I can get 3 CKs for about £22. Bargain!

Share your pain man! I use m&s and under armour. I suffer from chafage though as I have big thighs. Yet to find a solution to that...
It's the struggle!

I wouldn't mind trying these, but can't see a discount code anywhere. Any tips?

In the mean time, I've ordered some of the Under Armour ones.

Yeah I think on payday I’ll buy a pair of Under Armours as well as the Just Wear ones. Bought some boring CK white ones and a funky orange camo pair last night. So hopefully these just wears aren’t that much more comfortable!

Why do people see your boxers?

I used to spend silly amount on my underwear but swear by M&S now. The ones with a tiny bit of lyrca in.

As I said. If I stretch for something or bend over, you’ll see my boxers. I also wear my jeans a bit loose on my waist, a bad habit from my skating days, so you can often see the elasticated band on my underwear (not here for a lesson on how I should be wearing my attire)

Unless you're an old-fashioned superhero who wears his underpants on the outside or you routinely walk around in public in just your underpants, how is that going to be a problem? Even if you do, I think almost everyone would notice either of those things a lot more than they'd notice details of exactly what underpants you're wearing. OMG, it's Superman! Again! But wait, what is this? His underpants look the same as last time!

If I was intimate enough with someone to often see what underpants they were wearing and their underpants always looked the same and they didn't smell, I would simply assume they have enough pairs of the same type of underpants. I think any rational person would, given that underpants are machine-made mass market items. If you have found a specific type that is comfortable for you, why not just buy a dozen of them and be done with it? The last time I bought socks for work, I bought 24 identical socks. Wash them, any one pairs with any other one. Job done.

I'm not seeing the problem here.

I mean it's not the be all and end all but I'd like to have a bit of variety in my pants drawer. But I just like to have fun underwear and socks. If there is one thing I pride myself on is a strong novelty sock game. Plus I walk around the office with no shoes on so have to have good socks to impress my colleagues with

I think the problem is with any heat cotton (based) anything isn't nice below another layer of clothes. Especially for underwear. The modern sports stuff is excellent (I like the reebok stuff too) and the UA stuff is just awesome. Basically we want pants to look the part (for the Mrs or unknown lover in our lives), to keep cool and to fit well and be comfortable. There's nothing like the UA stuff for that IMHO. Next, M&S meh.

I may just get some UA ones for when i play sports. hour of squash and everything is a bit warm, if you know what I mean!
