I'm 5ft 10 and I weigh 10 stone, this puts me 1 stone under my recommended weight.

How can I add weight without eating unhealthily? I'm not fully sure whether being underweight is causing any ill effects but I do find I get tired quite quickly.

Eat larger portions of what you already eat, you don't have to ram McDonalds down your gullet to gain weight.

I already eat large portions, example last night I had pie, chips and 2 slices of bread.

My diet is probably quite high in carbs, often having sandwiches for lunch too. Lot of bread products in general really.

The pie was home made and the chips were cut from potatoes, not from a chippy.

Typical Week:

Breakfast: Crumpets/Toast, very occasionally a sausage roll.
Lunch: cold meat sandwiches and a packet of crisps, steak and kidney pie once a week, hot bageutte or small pizza
Dinner: Chicken/Fish/Sausage, with potatoes or chips, vegetables. Beans on toast with a fried egg if feeling lazy.
Supper/Snack: more often than not, bowl of cornflakes with whole milk.

I'm not surprised. Ditch the bread for oats and do some exercise.

Oh I do exercise, I go out for about 40 minutes with the dog at lunchtime and cover a couple of miles, I play badminton once a week for a couple of hours and I walk a lot at weekends.

Did you not read my posts or something?

Too much easy carbohydrate in your diet will lead to your insulin crashing the excess glucose levels in your blood, making you feel tired.

As posted - several times now - ditch all that bread and easy carbs for something better.

I'm reading your posts, I'm responding to other posters.

To be honest a lot of it is because I'm still living at home and I don't get any say in what's for dinner, it's just put on a plate in front of me.

Started snacking on fruit today, had a banana and apple this morning.
