Underweight?

lol not going to argue it was worked out and sorted believe or not beleive doesnt bother me.

OP there's a few forums online which are great for setting you up with diets, my metabolism was way too high while i was younger and was told to try again in a few years.

I already eat large portions, example last night I had pie, chips and 2 slices of bread.

Try eating some decent food for a start.:p

Fresh meats, vegetables, also don't be afraid to eat fatty meats/fish, butter/cheese, eggs etc are all healthy and will help to normalise your weight.

Lay off processed refined foods such as white bread/sugar, all junk foods infact.

Who wrote you a diet that had you eating 15000kcals a day? Are you an olympic athlete or something?

You'll find that this forum can provide as good, and in most cases better, information that a lot of recommended BB specific forums due to the level headed and mix of heads here ;)

That's not too bad buddy, I'm the same height and weighed around 8st (50.8kg) for most of my life.
Since I started going to the gym and eating more I'm now around 10.5st (66kg). Load up on the carbo meals like pasta and rice if you're really that bothered.

But all in all, it's not really that bad, infact I know it's a healthy weight.

I'm 5ft 10 and I weigh 10 stone, this puts me 1 stone under my recommended weight.

How can I add weight without eating unhealthily? I'm not fully sure whether being underweight is causing any ill effects but I do find I get tired quite quickly.

Beer, beer and kebabs! Worked for me during uni. However the added weight was not wanted and I didn't feel particularly healthy lol

you'll have a great time though!

Puts you at a BMI of 20.1..

That's fine... (yes, yes I know the issues of BMI, but for this it seems relevant...)

I'm 10 stone, and an inch or two shorter, not really an issue. I guess the extra stone might be appreciated, but it's hardly the end of the world for you...

I'm underweight too.

I'm 6' 2" and 77Kgs. Ideally I want to be 85-90Kgs.

I just find the problem with trying to pack on the beef is the side effect of drinking too much milk. Still, it evens out the protein constipation!!

afaik I'm in the middle of the bmi at 10st and 5ft9 tbh the whole bmi thing is a bit pc a joke. To really tell if someone is fit take some blood and do a VO2 max obviously your doctor isn't going to be too thrilled at the cost implications.

Typical Week:

Breakfast: Crumpets/Toast, very occasionally a sausage roll.
Lunch: cold meat sandwiches and a packet of crisps, steak and kidney pie once a week, hot bageutte or small pizza
Dinner: Chicken/Fish/Sausage, with potatoes or chips, vegetables. Beans on toast with a fried egg if feeling lazy.
Supper/Snack: more often than not, bowl of cornflakes with whole milk.

****load of easy, refined carbs, probably very high in saturated fat meat (sausage rolls ftl) not enough dietary fibre or veg...

So, at least we have somewhere to start. :)

Swap the breakfast for porridge/scrambled eggs, add in some nuts and fruit for lunch+snack, poach your eggs, ditch the potatoes for sweet potatoes (if you can bear it), and bust out the peanut butter toast (brown, unrefined stuff) for the naughty (!) supper.

Do you drink a lot of fizzy pop in there, too? Or drink tea/coffee? That amount of carbs will lead to at least one crash a day...

quality not quantity

I'm not surprised. Ditch the bread for oats and do some exercise.

Oh I do exercise, I go out for about 40 minutes with the dog at lunchtime and cover a couple of miles, I play badminton once a week for a couple of hours and I walk a lot at weekends.

All of which will most likely make you lose weight.
