I have a laptop that isnt detecting the DVDRW drive so i did a system restore but it has reset the user account so it is asking for the original owners password , as im now stuck with this is it possible to undo a system restore at all? Also any ideas about fixing the DVDRW problem. When I put in any type of disc it sees there is a disc there and trys to read it but it isnt being detected by the laptop at all. It isnt in my computer, or device manager and in the Bios is says "IDE Secondary: Disabled" (i think this is the DVDRW drive) but i cannot find a way to change this as its a Bios ive never even seen before (Insyde Software SCU). Any ideas??
