Right, so those children have the GCSE thread, and the A Level one too...

SO! A thread for everything to do with Uni!

So how is everyone's experiences of Uni? Or are you just coming up to that point?

For me, I've had an incredible first year of partying, meeting new mates and generally just getting drunk. Oh and there was some work involved too :D

And just had a pretty evil exam with two more on the way! :(

And the floor opens for you guys ;)

What is everyone studying? I do maths, and it seems everyone else on my course is more introverted!

Sounds like everyone else is having a great time! :)

Oh and whoever posted saying they had girl troubles second year of Uni, I've had them majorly this year :(

Students in general are ****s and exams are not too difficult in general but there is just too much to remember which makes it ****ing hard.

Well I can't comment on the first part but everyone I know has been a decent chap at Uni :)

And if you think the exams are easy, you should have done the calculus exam I had to today, made me understand how dying slowly feels :(

Finished my final year, the university was pretty mediocre, gulag campus with social activities solely consisting of drinking.

Not the student party hard type? :p

My Facebook is just full of pics of incredible times from this year, mostly from booze :D

Not every day of the week, or where it is the only activity available. Seriously, there's nothing else to do, just a crawl across the 9 bars on campus.

Well me and my mates do do quite a bit of other stuff, but alcohol for us has generally meant good times.

And so far, good girls :D

I'm actually texting one now that I metin sparrows (the SU club for Greenwich, where I study) on Wednesday, and I think I may be on for a relationship :D

First year almost done with, just four exams to do now and a couple of them I am in the happy position of not actually needed to pass them to pass the module.

So a week of revision to go before the first one. Been an odd year to be honest, met some good people, met some less good people, wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be either.

As a mature student most of my fellow students still fall under the "children" bracket. :D

Haha I don't think I or a lot of my mates can be classed as adults either :D

Only problems I've had at Uni are being skint, and doing incredibly stupid things while drunk and hungover. Like today, for example, I dyed my hair red. A couple of months back, I dived into a concrete floor, because in my drunken state at a foam party I couldn't see the floor, and because the area was surrounded by bouncy castle Walls I thought the floor would be bouncy too. Hence a and e that night, broken nose and very minor whiplash and concussion :D

Oh and there's the odd girl problem too but hey, that's just life :)

If you aren't going to enjoy it then take a year out and work otherwise you'll likely to perform poorly and be miserable. In the grand scheme of things a year isn't that much.

Maths though? Mad man :p

Oi you I do maths :p

Pfft. Someone I knew in first year tried to dye his hair white, intending to end up with the colours of the english flag (from completely black). Ended up a lovely orange.. :D

Haha the picture of mine is in post a pic of yourself thread, it's hilarious yet awesome!

And I had a mate dye his hair green while drunk. Turned out it was semi permanent stuff. Much lulz were had :)
