Why didnt you just post your average like everyone else? Is it becuase you wouldn't have been able to put '1st'?

I don't know what my average is yet until the end of summer.

Nope, placement year - you don't get a formal mark I don't think. You either pass or fail. They've not sacked me yet

First year Chemical Engineering (MEng). Just got my results today, first in every module I took, average of 84. Roll on the second year!

Got a 2:2 with hons. Was on a good 2:1 going into my third year but partying went a little crazy Messed my dissertation up big time, got 48 :/ did it in 3 days

I just my results for the 1st year, i got a 2.1!!! Really pleased

It consist of:
2 x 2.2
1 x 2.1
and 1 x 1st.
The 1st was in contextual studies so i have no idea how i got that...

Got a borderline 2:1 this year, which means muchos work next year to cement the 2:1 or scrape a first. Bit annoyed with myself really, put work in during the year, but let the revision get on top of me and left too much till right at the end. Won't be making that mistake this year!

I'm sure I've heard people saying that before, no wait, that was me as well. Always started the year with good intentions but never quite got round to doing enough work to make a difference and I refused to worry about it. Doesn't seem to have hurt me too much anyway, I've ended up with a decent enough degree at the end of it.

I have just finished my first year of mechanical engineering, I got A's in each of the eight modules I studied with an average of 78.5% So I am very happy although I know I could have done better in a few areas.

Got my results today, 69% average for the second year but only the 4 best get counted towards your degree (72%).

Exactly, even with a dodgy revision period I came out with a 2:1 so if I manage to make similar mistakes again I should get the 2:1 next year.
