Uninstalling ati software

It probably wouldn't hurt to tick everything and install the whole kaboodle, if you're experimenting.

If it doesn't help it doesn't help, at least you've ruled it out ;)

Oh yeah, everything that you see ticked in that screenshot was already installed when I re-installed 9.12 tonight, I couldn't deselect those ticks. And the two boxes that you can see I then ticked and installed, so everything in that screenshot is now installed. :)

ps... non-deselectable doesn't always mean it's already installed. sometimes it means installation is mandatory ;)

I really am off to bed now :p

Do you uninstall everything before updating again? Because ATI have always done it for me.

Never had no prob,s with the ATI drivers, l just use the built in un-installer and you have to reboot, then install the drivers and you have to reboot again. Yes there is a file that keeps your settings, saves you doing them over again, it could be that the Nvidia drivers you installed could have been conflicting with the ATI drivers causing the odd freeze up.
