Hi can I just check this? I want to uninstall my ATI drivers and update to the new 6.9 version. Is this the process:

1. Uninstall using ATI software uninstall in Add/remove programmes. Reboot.

2. Use something like Driver Cleaner Professional to get rid of the things that were missed. (not sure it there is a reboot after this).

3. Download and install new ATI drivers. Do you download the exe. file at this point, or should you have downloaded it before step 1?

Thanks.

1 Yip.

2 Not usually required unless swapping Nvidia to ATI or vice-versa.

3 Doesn't matter when as windows drivers will be running in between anyway.

Make sure you cancel all the found new hardware prompts on each reboot too (except after the .exe install has begun obviously, I just mean when the computer has just started up).
