Uninstalling Nvidia drivers??!!

hey Guys
i was trying to uninstall my Nvidia drivers last night (win 8 ) and i had a helluva time trying to remove them, it reloaded the buggers every time i rebooted and then when i tried to uninstall them again it said i needed to reboot..

Does anyone else have issues, or is there an easy way?

Use Driver Fusion, it's much easier than trying to remove them manually using the control panel. You can get a free version, but the premium one is not too expensive and it will give you full capabilities for removing each driver component.

I find DDU to be a lovely little program and has not caused any problems like driver sweeper tends to do sometimes. Not sure if that is the latest version as I am on my phone at the moment

Keep an eye on what Windows Update is doing, under some options it will keep loading/installing drivers.

Keep an eye on what Windows Update is doing, under some options it will keep loading/installing drivers.

Windows 8/8.1

My computer > System properties > Advanced system settings > Hardware > Device installation settings > copy

Bugger i bet thats what it was!! I'm on windows 8.1 and its a swine for installing crap

^ I needed to do the same and disconnect my computer from the Internet to prevent automatic driver install. I also delete the driver within Device Manager http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/171469-uninstall-device-device-driver.html - Step 9.
