Unit 731

I've read about this before and it's still the single worst thing I've ever read.

Makes part of me wish we nuked Japan to the stone age.

While I have no doubt both sides committed atrocities I cant imagine we did anything quite like that.

meh this crops up every few months on here, surely everyone must know about it by now =/

The allies (well, Americans) can't exactly take the moral highground; they granted some of the people amnesty in return for giving them their results... wow.

Just the thought of what people must have endured in that place is shocking...

Whats also shocking is that there are people now, alive today that want to carry on such things and use biological weapons on others. Its beyond comprehension.

Why'd you randomly put getting dumped next to Unit 731 lol?

It's in the very next sentence, "It will put your problem into context". True it isn't the most obvious link in the World but it is always worth remembering that far worse things have happened, can happen and may well happen than being dumped before we get more threads about the most recent dumping.

Unit 731 was pretty horrific, perhaps worse is that many of them didn't even get charged with war crimes because they used the knowledge gained to barter immunity from prosecution.

So annihilate an entire nation because of the acts of a select group of people...same kind of mindless logic I hear at work about killing all muslims because of a small percentage of extremists.

I know the comment was probably flippant and had no deep meaning but it just got my back up.
