United States Grand Prix 2012, Austin - Race 19/20

The Sky build up is far from brilliant, but with Jake leaving it's still going to be significantly better than what the BBC will be cobbling together next year. That's if they have any build up or even live races at all next year.

Go watch the BBC coverage then. :D

Personally, I think Sky's coverage is significanly better than the BBC's. No EJ or JA for a start!

Of the few sky races I've watched I think the BBC is much better, it's funny cringy but Ifeel has more detail as well .

Yeah, I mean look what happened the last time McLaren signed a 22 year old promising driver and paired him up against a previous WDC....

True.

Its all academic if RBR produce yet another great car, but if the McLaren does somehow end up on top then Perez could be in with a chance. He's at 10/1 to win it, which is better than the likes of Webber and Massa.

I get the feeling that he'll have a shaky start but once he's up to speed he'll outscore JB over the year. Won't be anywhere near the title hunt though.

Why is the DRS detection point so far back? Its the other side of what might be an overtaking opportunity. We could see people using DRS to just run away after having already overtaken someone :(

Carlos Slim and George Lucas together just a moment ago. I bet Lucas feels like a pauper next to Slim. 4 billion net worth v 69 billion. :p

They're talking about slow response for the recovery trucks when cars stop on track... Why are they not talking about the drivers who carry on free wheeling for a few more corners, rather than stopping at the first opportunity they have, on the inside of a corner after the apex where it isn't going to be in the way? :/
