Blimey, i can't believe I'm having to point out such basic concepts to you. If someone is passively aggressively referring to someone in the third person there is no idea to attack, it's literally impossible to attack an argument because they're not making one, they're making snide comments with zero substance.

In such an instance saying it's cowardly and weak is not a personal insult, it's a statement of fact.

So you've taken one of many dictionary definitions of racism and added your own flavour into it to explain what you consider racism to be, you then changed tact from a singular person

If you've been a victim of constant abuse, physical or mental, from a black person

to multiple persons, only after having it pointed out that experiencing abuse at the hands of one person and tarring an entire racial/ethnic group is, well, racist. Even then, tarring an entire racial/ethnic group by the actions of a few is racist. You then tried to correct Dis for his use of the word reason by yet again posting a dictionary definition, which ironically included the context of his use of the word.

Lets see, where next.. oh yes, dictionary definition of the word discrimination. Again you homed in one small element of the definition, going back to the word prejudiced and ignoring "The unjust or" element of the definition. A common theme in your posts on the subject as you did exactly the same with the definition of the word racist by ignoring the "or antagonistic" element. In every single instance of you posting dictionary definitions you continuously/purposely ignore the full definition of the word, instead just focusing on one part. To be honest I've never known someone to post some many dictionary definitions of words yet still fail to comprehend the actual meaning of words.

We'll ignore once again your comparison with women's shelters because its laughable and the more you stick by the more you come across as a complete moron.

So, long and short of it is based on your own words a person can not be racist if they have a 'excuse' handy, oh and incase you were wondering about the definition of the word excuse in this instance. Here you go chuckles: Seek to lessen the blame attaching to (a fault or offence); try to justify.

No, I've consistently used the OED definition of racism. If you're struggling to understand what a reason actual is you can't blame others, you may thing a single instant is a sufficient reason (aka: a valid reason) for you to form an opinion and be prejudice towards an entire group of people, i personally don't hence why i said valid reason. There's not much point in a reason if it's not valid after all so i thought i had to add the fact that it should be a valid reason because some people where struggling to understand what a reason even was.

TBH even after repeated bad experiences i still wouldn't say that's sufficient reason to be prejudice towards an entire group, however I'm intelligent and experienced enough in abusive relationships to know that reasoning sometimes doesn't come into it until you've had the time to process the abuse and learn mechanisms to deal with the emotional trauma.

You're welcome to quote where i used a dictionary other than the OED for a definition.

And you've had it pointed out multiple times that that experiencing abuse at the hands of one person and tarring an entire racial/ethnic group is, well, racist, not that i ever said one person, and tarring an entire racial/ethnic group is not always racist because there's a blooming reason to fear an entire racial/ethnic group if you've just been violently attack by someone from that racial/ethnic group, like robfosters parents were. Although if that happened a long time ago i would've expected them to have learnt to cope with the emotional trauma something like that obviously leaves behind because if they've not learnt to deal with it and it happened years ago then that could certainly be seen as racist.

Also the reason i homed in on one small element of the definition is because I'd already said a valid reason, you know the word that's synonymous with "just" or "unjust" I also did the same with antagonistic because the dictionary definition literally says "or" as in "either or", as in "one or the other", as in the two are not mutually exclusive.

Basically the entire rant above can be boiled down to, once again, people like yourself not understand what words mean or even how to use a dictionary.

Also if you think I'm an apologist for racists then i suggest you ask other forum goers for their opinion.
