Hey guys,

Trying to watch US netflix at university, how ever the option I have used in the past of using a US DNS unfortunately isn't working.

I assume that my university network has been set up to not allow custom DNS addresses to be used.

Is there any other options?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. Any recommendations of a VPN to use?

I am researching at the moment but a lot of the websites are blocked. :(

There are various ways to do this. I imagine your parents have an Internet connection back home so you could set up a VPN back there and just forward your DNS traffic over it. This is probably the cheapest option if you have the necessary kit / knowledge.

Otherwise as mentioned you could look for a VPN service or rent a cheapo Virtual Private Server and tunnel your DNS traffic through that. You can probably get a VPS for ~£5 a month however this seems silly when Netflix is only £6.
