Still, the tecchies could get someone to check out whos using that ethernet port.

They could but knowing what Bournemouth techies are/were like they won't bother, the network system there is not set up brilliantly in the interests of security and monitoring.

At Surrey we do actually monitor stuff and all ports that don't have a PC will also have no connection to a network. Also you need to sign in to be able to use the wireless, it'll connect but you only have the ability to use HTTP browsing so long as you sign in on a web page, else you'll have no access to anything. At Bournemouth anyone can connect to the wireless and do almost anything they want.

in my hall 2 year ago it must have been half a meg and everything was block and very slow, 40k/s was a good day tho the lan was great for games, batle field 1947 was so good
