Unknown Device In Device Manager

Hey everyone,

I have recently completed an install of Windows 7 Home Premium on my main PC. I have one unknown device in device manager and I cannot for the life of me find a driver! This wasn't a problem in Vista, it never needed a driver so I can't understand what it is.

After looking up the device in Everest, I get even more confused...

Try going to the properties, details tab, then Hardware Ids. I managed to pick out a wireless card in a laptop the other day by googling the ven number.

www.pcidatabase.com is a good place to start to search for them unknown devices.

As Toughnoodle has said, if you can get the hardware IDs then you'll be able to search for the vender and/or the Device ID to identify what it is and where to look for drivers
