Unknown power supply

I will try and describe this as best I can, I have a faulty power supply but I dont know what the end connection is, it looks like a cat 5 end but it only has 3 pins (Live, neutral and earth). Does anybody know what it is? I can not get a picture of it for you until 12pm.

Manual says its a 24V DC 500 mA supply. It cant be live/neutral/earth. Its gotta be positive and negative, no idea what the third pin is, might be unused. I'd personally cut off connector from broken power supply and splice it into a new standard 24v dc supply, after confirming which one is positive, negative and which one of the pins is unused.

So, is it not just regular PoE input? Just with no data. If so you can just use a PoE injector.
