Yeah for those who dont know, the ender chest thing doesnt work that way on mp. You have to create the blank chest, place it, then dye the sections individually

Yeah if you're using the HD version of the client you need to allocate at least 2gb ram to java via control panels. Without the client you wont be able to connect because you wont have the mods installed

I do apologise theres def a problem with the restart of the server post morning shutdown. I'll try and sort it today. Thought the previous lack of reboot was a one off :/

MP tbh isnt that much different from single player. So long as you avoid other peoples builds you have a large area to enjoy. If you're familiar with the mods we use then that is a big help. Remember to download the client from the website (which has all the mods installed) or you wont be able to connect

Run a line of uninsulated IC2 cables around your perimeter with at least 2 energy stores. This will damage any mob (or player) approaching.
You can bury redpower cables in normal walls though, using jacketed cabling and hollow panels

The main problem is, although you can very easily set up methods to auto kill the mobs, you only get experiance from killing them yourself... If there was a way around this people could grind the mobs constantly without issue.
Even with something like a red power deployer throwing potions their way it still counts as a random player name actually doing the deploying 
Theres not too many rules tbh. If you are building on top of someone elses work then yuo're doing it wrong!
That said, bare in mind that people will have mines etc under their place, so dont build right next to them either

Yeah sorry about that bud, a major memory leak killed it. Its frozen atm and I'm 50:50 on killing the process which loses half hour or more of peoples work, or waiting it out half the night!
