Is it just me who thinks the development tools look better than the engine?
It look like no more advanced than any thing else?
Seemed dumbed down for console!

I recommend doing some research into the various techniques being used here. Only then will you realise how difficult it is to run them all together in realtime.

Eventgraph/BluePrint looks brilliant.

and Zenimax owns ID so they would never license a competitors engine.

The people making the game would be bethesda or another Zenimax owned studio and they aren't tied specifically to id engines (although would be nice if they used them more as IMO it would help push the engine tech to).

Looks like a great upgrade, the editor tools and abilities should hopefully make life a lot easier for those using them
