Unreal Level Editor

im really a noob with this so be nice.

Is there anywhere i can download the latest (which is what one) unreal tournament level editor?

Im not looking to buy anything if i can but i guess i will if i have to. Im not sure thought with this as to wether it is a seperate thing or if it is just something that comes with the game like the Elderscrolls construction kit that came with OB, which is why i put it here and not in the games section.

My best guess is that im giong to have to buy the latest game and it will come with it. Am i right?

Yep, buy the game, the editor is an integral part of it. If you shop around you can find UT2004 DVD version for around £7-£10. Just make sure it's not a secondhand one or a copy.

ok thanks for the help. Why can't it be a second hand one? is 2004 the latest one? i thought it was 2007? if so shouldnt i get that one

2004 is the latest version. 2007 won't be out till near the end of the year. I think we will all cry at it's performance too.

Anyway, 2004 comes with level editor and I would suspect that the map could be imported into the 2007 editor. It would need to be re-textured though, as the 2007 version would most likely have different textures.

You need a new copy because it comes with a CD key for online play. If this key has been used before, you will struggle to get online. One key can't be used more than once at the same time.
