I would genuinely love a decent older style UT game again but with updated graphics.
But more seriously, haven't we been having Unreal 4 engine tech demos for an utterly absurd amount of time now and absolutely nothing worthwhile in the real world to show for it. The games out that use it are ones I've basically not heard of and a very quick look at the likes of Daylight and graphically it looks dire.
Anyone know what the first AAA type title using UE4 is supposed to be? Pretty tech demo's are great but what you get in a game is the only thing I give a crap about. UE4 has been talked about and shown for SO damn long but where are the games taking advantage of it.
First line on UE4 on wiki
Could purchase a licence for it since May 2012, it was first shown in a demo in June 2012. 2.5 years and still seen nothing impressive beyond a tech demo.
Stop making tech demos, make a god damned game and help some developers make a game with it rather than putting more time and money into tech demos /epic slap to Epic.
You can play the pre-alpha of the new Unreal Tournament in the Unreal Engine launcher.
Ark is using it, looks nice runs like a bloke with no feet
Ark is a disgrace to the Unreal Engine 4. Filled with cheaply bought props from the Unreal and Unity market place and while it looks fine maxed out it runs like a t*rd.. Makes me a bit angry considering the trailer shows 60fps in game footage which must have been prerendered...gRrrRRRrr
Loft in London demo is awesome!!!
Was watched Avengers trailer in demo then exited and changed clip to random mp4 file, went back to demo and turned on TV but blank screen realized Avengers file are WMV format so I converted GTA V mp4 trailer to WMV then renamed file to Avengers and tested it out...

It worked.
You can do it with any WMV clips or convert movies clips to WMV format.![]()
