Tried this last night. Looks glorious. That grass when you exit the Vortex Rikers is But it makes the cliff walls look terrible
Very unstable for me though. Locks up after a couple of minutes (steam version of Unreal Gold, patched)
Didnt someone post about this already or am I imagining things?
I tried it earlier in the week or last week and it was ok but not mind blowing as Unreal was when it released using a 3dfx card.

Can't wait to give this a try later. As a self confessed graphics whore, it was this game that really got me into PC gaming back in the day.... https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/unreal-rtx-remix-path-tracing-mod-fully-released/
How do you turn the brightness down? RTX looks good but sometimes tend to think people just think "make it super bright and extra shiny!" Unreal shouldnt be bright and shiny. It should have dark areas, especially like the initial prison escape level.
Might have to give this a go when I get home. I likely won't play it much though; as much as I have fond memories of Unreal, the later levels were labyrinthine and hard to navigate, so much so that I had to no clip.
I was only about 14/15 when I last played however, so maybe it won't feel so tricky now.
