Was due out last year originally! Glad I didnt pre-order it now. I still play UT2004 sometimes, hopefully this'll be a winner when it does eventually appear

Epic has not announced a released date yet, still going on the 'when its done' timeline. I think we will see it some time around September.

I hope an 8800GTS will run it at max, I will be upgrading to C2D just for this game!

It most definitely will (presuming you're running 1600x1200 or less).

They're not really concentrating on graphics to be honest, none of the UT's have been graphics heavy.

Uh..... Have you seen the screenshots!!!!

The graphics are damnd good, better than S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Oblivion and most stuff out now.

Yes, they're not that good.

Well they're good for a game that needs to be as fast and non-laggy as UT does, but if it were a single player story driven FPS I'd expect more.

Yes it is, very, but graphics aren't the main focus of it.

Put it this way, it's not going to be anything on Crysis (although the U3 engine might be better, just talking graphically now).

The U3 Engine was designed for better graphics, and umm physics maybe from a video I seen long ago, and the video I seen of UT3 in actions, the graphics are far from not very good, they are better than most games out today and the graphics are awsome.

From what I see, they are focusing on graphics aswell.

I think there is currently no game out with better graphics than UT3 will have.

Gears of War on the 360 looks stunning, there's no reason to think UT3 wont look better.

Exactly, the engine is great. What I'm trying to say is that because the engine is so good it won't be a rig killer. They've worked very hard to get it efficient.
