Unreal Tournament 3 to use" Gears Plus Visuals"

In the latest edition of oxm(official xbox magazine), New details have been unveiled on Epics next big title. The game will support 16 to 20 players online. UT3 features 18 different vehicles to drive. The Unreal Tournament weapons you know and love as well as many new weapons been added .The sizes of the maps have also been expanded.The game will also feature "Gears of War PLUS" graphics. We are not sure what exactly that means, but sounds very interesting.

Weird about the GoW reference, maybe there's some new content coming out for GoW that features some graphical upgrades? Or possible an expansion pack?

Either, any news on Ut3 is cool

why a weird comment? seems to me like they are just saying that the graphics will be one step better than in GoW, which sounds damn good to me.

Yeh its not a weird reference to me. Sounds like typical marketing. Everyone knows that GoW set a standard for console graphics. Why not use the brand and its known asset to push a different game?

Tell someone this game is the best.. thats hard to imagine, weve heard that before.

Tell someone this game is GoW plus.. they'll be imagine GoW with better gfx..

PC and PS3 as far as I know. There might be a 360 version too, I'm not sure.

Yeah this is coming for the 360, before the PS3 infact

not sure on multiplayer details yet though

its out for both consoles , not sure if all versions are the same or not though ,

there was talk of console users been able to play against pc players a while back im not sure how truthful that was

Midway said September for 360 and PC versions and Jan 2008 for PS3, but Epic then said otherwise saying all versions are still due this year but gave no official release dates.

I remember some one doing a preview for UT3, saying that the PS3 version will be compatable with keyboard and mouse.
