unstable overclock

Hi peeps

does anyone on here remember this bundle ?

mine has never been really stable i have tried everything but pc always seems to freeze up while gaming for an hr or so.

any help would be most welcome

Is it getting too hot? What do you mean by unstable, does it crash and reboot?

If it blue screens, what error code does it give?

The pc will freeze up with a buzzing noise and loss of keyboard and mouse and i need to hard reset.

It has a corsair h50 cooler on it idles around 35 at stock 2.8 and then say 41 idle with 4 ghz overclock on i havent messed with any settings.

All i do is load up the ocuk bio in bios i run intel burn test for 10 passes and it passes that on standard
But anything more i get error in intel bun test

Temps reach mid 80s with burn test but with gaming they are around 60-70

Its doing my head in tbh

Do you have issues when you load the factory settings in bios?

No i dont think so everything seems ok at stock speed a bios defaults

Has corsair 1000 watt psu aswell
Northbridge gets quite hot id say mid to high 70s or even just in 80 with overclock on
