Unsure what graphics card to buy - Agh!

no I means the ones he uses then upgrades,i mean he cant sell them he advises against buying 2nd hand so just wondering where he dumps them :)
 
Which Samsung monitor have you got? Does it have G-Sync and do you need to sustain 144fps? Will a 1070 suffice for the games that you play, otherwise a 1080Ti.
 
I'm sticking with my 1080ti for now, by the time RTX gets any decent support, there will either be newer cards out, or the 2080's will be a lot cheaper, (I still wouldnt mind an rtx addon card for about £150 though)

I'm really glad i bought my 1080ti early on, just after the initial new card tax, I dont think I would feel the same with a 2080 though
