Very odd. Is it definitely that fan making the noise?
Did you try taking it out and making sure its in the socket properly?
Also, I know changing the cable didn't help, but use as few adaptors as possible! They just come with the card as some people NEED them, your PSU has all the right cables already.
im tried something and gonna see if that works now, the bottom left of the circle, the plastic seemed to be touching the fan, i had a look and it was overlapping the hole so i cut a bit off the cover so gonna see if its fine now
Check gpu fan, from that pic one blade is sticking above the gpu fan case? Lookslike its catching? Ohh glad you fixed it,didn't see other page of replies
any idea on this work around, im using a TV not a monitor for my gaming but im getting a invalid format on my monitor when i try turning PC on, im figuring its because the graphics card drivers arent installed

it should work in its basic state, onboard graphics or add in graphics card, without any drivers whatsoever,it will still display the image, then you just install gpu drivers, depends on hdmi/vga/dvi connection and resolution that you might be having problems
It had this problem a while ago when it wasnt the right resolution that it would display invalid format, im sure when i formatted my last pc and installed a new OS the TV did the same and i needed to use an old monitor. I found a nice monitor in PC world which im gonna grab this morning as the max resolutio my TV can so is 1280 x 780 or something like that
