That's Google's IP address so it bypasses DNS checks. Definately sounds like malware then.

They change colour if your on Vista/XP I think......

I've solved it now - Combofix sorted it out. Thanks everyone.

No idea what the problem was specifically but Combofix removed the following:

c:\windows\system32\wdmaud.sys
c:\windows\system32\x64
D:\Autorun.inf

I think it's the first one of those which is most guilty. It seems to have been infected.

Yep, to match the normal Explorer buttons. Green for XP, blue for Vista.
