Good shots! Glad you've found success doing gigs. Did one myself last night but with a 50mm f/1.8, so a different feel to the shots altogether. I'm keen on the results from the fisheye, you can capture much of the atmosphere.
The fisheye definitely makes the photos stand out. They're nice shots but even in 4 of them the fisheye effect is getting tired for me. You need to get hold of some normal wide glass for variety - what's canon's equiv. of the 14-24? Hire that and see what you get if you're in limited space...

Nice photo's, I would have tried to get a few more shots of the crowd also...

I'll be going around the crowd during the next gig![]()

Nice, it is worth getting a crowd shots from the stage also I think.![]()
check out the facebook link below the pics I posted up. I ended up using the fisheye for the whole night though.Photo 6 from your Facebook link, now that's pretty cool use for a Fisheye![]()
That was one of the main reasons I got the fisheye, so that I could fit all the decks in from that perspective! It didn't work as good on the crowd shots so I I'll take something just as wide without the distortion next time (as well as the fisheye)Bah I missed the FB link the first time aroundOh, I got plenty of thosecheck out the facebook link below the pics I posted up. I ended up using the fisheye for the whole night though.
even more good shots in there...
