[UPDATE] OCUK World Cup Sweepstake - teams revealed

Ok, so some idiot forgot to start a sweepstake sooner but better late than never. It's 200 posts to enter (these probably will never get taken) and then prizes of 1600 posts for the runner(s)-up and 4800 posts for the winners. We usually have enough interest to run this at least 2 times so I'll number the sides 1-64 and pm them over to Andybtsn so nobody can accuse me of cheating when I win.

Start picking your numbers. I'll try to keep the OP updated but please check the few posts before yours just in case I've not got round it. Later on, once I've sent the list over to Andy, could somebody pick a number for me and Andy too.

No, just that rather than having only 32 entrants, we'll number each team twice so we can fit more people in. If we get enough interest I'll go up to 96.

But you didn't think to update that post to make it easy for members to know what's left? If you're going to do something then do it properly!

If the remaining numbers are taken and we still have interest then just pick any number that's been chosen already but only do that once the above are gone.

And can someone explain how this works?

I've randomly numbered all the teams in the World Cup (from 1-32 and then again from 33-64), you pick a number at random and later today I will reveal which teams those numbers correspond with. If the team you picked makes it to the final or wins the competition you win a few extra posts and for those wondering, we can't gamble on the forum so the prizes can only be posts.
