Anyone have any info on the stock levels for 3080? Specifically Asus 3080 TUF? Just wondering how long we gonna have to wait for this version of card to come into stock properly.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
Lol these threads.
nVidia and the retailers must be sitting laughing themselves silly at the desperation they've created.
It is funny. They managed record sales without actually having anything to sellHaving tens of thousands of orders with no stock in sight? Doesn't sound like a laughing matter to me.

So who has the money?Nothing is sold until the product is in the customers hands.

OCUK have millions upfront and demand will be high well into next year. They're most certainly laughing.
So who has the money?
So what happens when customers get sick of waiting and cancel their orders?
Very few people are going to cancel, particularly with OCUK as they're likely your best chance of getting a card in this country. It's not like they can go elsewhere, you'll have a few who'll catch the FE when it's in stock for 1 minute on the nVidia site and some who change their mind but it will be a small percentage.
If you do cancel and you're still aiming to pick one up at some point then you also run the risk of having to pay more for the model you wanted.
If thats the case I hope, people cancel their orders for 3080 to release some pressure for the ones sticking on Nvidia XDThat's well and good but that gets vaporised if AMD offers even a slightly compelling product with stock levels to match.

The money are in limbo as long as you have it on pre-order. If you cancel your pre-order, they're losing the money. So who has the money?
