Email I just recieved:

Bl**dy shipping lines !!!!

We had the cars booked for shipment ex Yokohama on a vessel that was due to call tomorrow but that got cancelled and now the next one (Voyage 174 on the schedule) is over booked but I have made my point clear that this is urgent and they must ship these cars without further delays.

We have the Integra booked on the next ship – you can see there has been a bit of a gap between ships calling at Nagoya (where my car is!).

If anything changes, I will let u know.

I’ve got you a little pressie to try and make up for the delay (see attached photo) – some carbon goodies for the Integra.

So that would put arrival at 4th March (the day before my b/day :D ). Bit dissapointed at the delays, but it looks like it's out of his hands and fairplay to him for giving me those carbon bits, he didn't have to do that and shows he is commited to keeping his customers happy.

Fingers crossed.........
 
Sucks that there's more delays but at least he's being a top seller. Hopefully you'll have it soon! I want to see the damn thing (although I imagine you might more). :cool:
 
Dang man, i don't think i could take the waiting personally but i guess it will make it all that much sweeter when you do finally get it :cool:

Not a big importer, more a parts importer that imports the odd car. He does seem to have a good reputation though, and people seem happy with cars that he has imported before.

Look for 'Dave-shop' on the big auction site.

Delayed again eh, you should have it soon enough though.

Atleast the guy is aware of what a pain it is for you and is trying to do his best to get the car through.

It will be worth the wait :p
 
If I were you I'd be getting a bit anxious and be thinking about pulling out, but if your happy to wait then its all good... plus you get some carbon goodness to stick in :p

At least he's keeping you informed :)
 
How much do these mofos weigh?

Oh, and why doesnt he just get the car moved to a port where they ship from more frequently?

Its actually the full plastic parts made in such a way to create the effect, quite a neat little trick, no vinyl stick ons here :D
 
I likeit very much when someone is clearly doing as much as they can to sort thinsg. I can always forgive problems if people are genuine and upfront about them :)
 
Well, better late then never !!

I've finally got booking confirmation from the agents in Japan.

Next ship leaves on 31st Jan, we have space on it for 2 cars - your Integra and my Legnum !!

Also the container load of parts with those carbon goodies in should arrive
around 3 weeks later.
