Updating BIOS - Any help appreciated

Hi all,

I have been having an issue explained here. A cold boot issue

And I've been advised to update the BIOS

I just have a few questions:

1. What is the best way to do this with my motherboard?
2. I currently havev BIOS revision 0401, am I right in saying that the latest one for my board is 0703?
3. Could someone please explain the process as best as possible. Any precautions to take beforehand etc

Use ASUS AI Suite II it will do it all for you.

I did this update today. Save the update file to a location on your hard drive. I saved mine on a USB stick. Anyway don't worry, I tried what mickyflinn said and it worked. I now have BIOS revision 0703

Thanks for your help guys

I will let you know whether or not it has solved the cold boot issue or not but it might take me a while as it only happened occasionally
