Hey . . .

System is running nice and smoothly . .thx a lot to all the help and advice I got on here before . . .putting it together was a piece of <EDITED>!

anyway . .. am running this:

Asus M4A78-E AMD 790GX (Socket AM3) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard

as it came . . .there are a load of driver updates for it etc but I've been warned that changing configuration / installing updates can be a bit haphazard and dangerous for the system . . .

so . . .should I just leave it be, will updating make any tangible difference?
:D

no youre fine doing updates, the only one you have to be careful of is actually flashing the bios yourself, if you were to have a power cut whilst doing it it would basically bork your mobo, other than that get all the driver updates you can

yep, only flashing a bios will run the risk of something going wrong really, driver updates are be fine and more often than not improve the system.

Would full star out the sweary as well and read the FAQS :)

ahh sorry didnt realise . .

thx for the feedback . . .loads of stuff on the ASUS website i'm gonna grab

No problem, i swore and posted competitor links in my first post here before everyone kindly let me know the rules!
