Updating CCC

Probably a noob question, but do I need to uninstall my previous version of ccc before installing a new one?

The reason I ask is steam has just received that new feature that lets you update drivers from within steam and it didn't seem to uninstall the old ones first.

You do not need to uninstall first.

The installer automatically uninstalls any older versions of things its updating.

That was from steam as well.

Personally, as much as I love Steam, I wouldn't trust it with my drivers, ditto windows update. Its great for telling you there's an update available, but I'd much rather download directly from the manufacturer. Plus the Steam download was something like 120Mb, so I would assume its bundled the 32 and 64 bit drivers together.
