Upgrade 2005fpw to 2405fpw?

Hey all,

I've had my 2005fpw for a few months now i bought it second hand and it is by far the best monitor i've owned

I have an opportunity to get a 2405fpw for a good price so i'd only need to sell my current monitor and put £100ish towards it.

Will my system be able to cope with the higher res? I feel it struggles on high at its current res for games like oblivion and condemned etc.

I didn't manage to get the 2405 for that good price i wanted :s

still after one though, that setup looks good afk, what other tft is that? reminds me off my old nec diamondpro sb (ahhh huge crt monitors...how i miss them

)

Ok, so my system shouldn't have a problem running games at that res then. Do you think i should wait for the new 2007 models?

Well just sold my 2005fpw.

So i'm getting a refurbished 2405, my friend says that they are prone to backlight bleed like the 2005. Is this true?

What do you guys use to clean your monitor? Do you buy the special wipes? I was pouring rubicon lychee juice near the monitor and its got sticky splash marks on it! ><

i think i'll go to the local shopping centre an get a cleaning kit hopefully for under a tenner. Or get a family bucket at kfc and get loads of wipes

well picked up a anti-glare cleaning gel spray which is a spray bottle and some lint free cloths. Did the job good!

Haven't noticed any anti glare properties but it was just under a fiver!
