Hey guys,

I'm looking to build an upgrade this year and wanted to use the i7-8086K cpu with 3 x 1080ti's.

(I prominently use my machine with Cinema 4D and Octane which is a GPU powered render engine.)

My question: Is there a 1151 motherboard that supports 3 x Nvidea GPU's 1080ti's and a case to accommodate that amount/size?

Thanks in advance!

Guessing as your clearly know, almost 100% scale

would have been interesting to see 4x 1080gtx performance as that could have been had for same price as 3x 1080ti ...

To be honest.. i'd wait for next gen GPU, should see them at Gamescon next week or news.

As for boards, you'll either be left with z490 which has extra PCIe lanes but not sure this is for m.2 and is based on ryzen or x299 board .

That might be your best shot, x299 with 8 core clocked as high as you can

Went for a bit of style as well but in a nut shell

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £3,681.16 (includes shipping: £15.30)

Seems next gen **80 is around 30% more Powerful then 1080ti ... Not sure with costs and heat getting FE at launch-pre order how costs and performance would look, but seems it my like to drink volts as reference PCB had dual 8 pins ... Fe 1080 only had single 8 pin

Jesus, with the way these new cards are beginning to look, PLUS triple SLI, PLUS being on the FE variant, can you imagine the voltage and heat dispersal requirements? I'd tread lightly diving in to the new cards if I were you!
