Hi,

Dont run anything on that PSU. First thing to check is how much space you have for a graphics card? and how much you have to spend? What is the whole spec of the PC? (don't want to buy a graphics card which it can't make the most of, though if it has an i5 or some sort it should be fine).

Are you getting the 5670 new, or found it cheap second hand? Only, it's a bit old now.

get the cheaper 6850 on preorder rather than the 460 and save £17 for very similar performance if it will fit ?

the 6850 is 10.24"
the 460 is 8.25"

edit: ah seeing the image you posted it dosnt look like teh 6850 would fit. :(

PSU is imortant upgrade that will last you a long time, but more important;y, one that will dictate what you can/cant install and what you can/cant overclock. I would advise not to skimp on PSU, get at least the 600W one. Afetr that, even if you move away from Dell, you can take it out and have it power you new PC.

With current Dell, 600W PSU will mean you'll be able to install a much better gfx card that fits your system better than 5670. Second hand 5870 would be cheap, but much better fit for your i5.

If the card is too long, you could move/cut the cage that is in the way.
