Hey guys. Need some help. Apologies in advance for any long windedness. I tend to ramble.

My current rig is as follows:

Core2Quad Q8300 with Arctic Freezer 7 Cooling
Asus P5Q Pro Mobo
4GB Crucial DDR2 800mhz
Gigabyte GTX 460 1GB
OCZ StealthXtreme 2 80plus 600w PSU
OCZ Agility 3 120GB SSD
2X WD 3TB Green Hard Drives
Sony Blu Ray Drive
Antec 300 Case with 3X 120mm fans and the 140mm on top

Pretty sweet as new, but getting to be ancient. Ive plugged holes aslong as I can ( used to run an old Intel e6300 overclocked, a 9800GT and the boot drive was a Baracuda 7200.10 ), but Im at the end of the line as far as gaming goes. BF4 runs like crap, and if Im honest it struggled in many new games before that at anything above medium settings. I also use this rig to watch movies on my 3D TV over a very long HDMI cable and for general use.

My ideal plan is to put together a new set of guts for the Antec 300 and move the older parts to an old Asus case. I would then connect the old rig to my TV for use as a media center and use the newer for gaming and general computing.

To that end I think the new setup could use my SSD, Case and PSU. So a CPU, MOBO, RAM and GPU are required. Unfortunately I am a bit short on disposable income right now, so I was hoping I could split the purchases over time. Perhaps buying a 760/770 now, and hoping the new socket due out in the spring might drop older CPU/mobo prices enough to make waiting until then worthwhile. But again Im not sure if a newer GPU would help as much as a newer CPU/MOBO, as thats where Im guessing the worst of the bottlenecking is.

Again I apologise for the rambling. Any advice would be appreciated. My current budget is around £220, but I could stretch to £250 if the difference it would make would be worth it. I prefer Intel/Nvidia over AMD/Ati due to past experiences and heat/power usage concerns.

Thanks in advance :)
